Today [2nd July 2021] Belfast-based DJ/producer Jordan Nocturne (FKA Jordan) follows up the demand for his cult-status edits with his anticipated new EP Gemini Boy. Dropping on his own imprint Nocturne along with focus track and video ‘Primadonna’, the EP also features an effervescent jungle leaning remix from Studio Barnhus' Kornel Kovacs, nodding to his early days as a teenager in Stockholm’s drum ‘n' bass scene.

Traversing electro, disco and synth-pop territories with ease Gemini Boy is a testament to his status as one of Ireland's most exciting producers right now. The glorious EP marks the shape of things to come from Jordan Nocturne - genre-blending, kaleidoscopic sounds informed by his life in music and a refreshed approach to his output; stemming from changes in his life, time spent in the studio with a piano and a range of new synths, and reflections on those inimitable, magic dancefloor moments while the world was on hold.

The follow up to recent club cut of the same name, and previously released psychedelic disco dub ‘22BB’ supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, and more, Primadonna is a glorious, club-ready offering that merges synth-pop and 80’s electronics with techno and acid influences with ease. An artist dedicated to pairing his exciting sonic output but with intricate artwork and visuals, the Primadonna drops alongside an equally hedonistic, mesmeric video created by Belfast-based visual artist Ross McClean at Nightstaff and George Barnes.
