Today [4th June 2021] Belfast-based DJ/producer Jordan Nocturne (FKA Jordan) shares euphoric single ‘Gemini Boy’ - a hedonistic club cut that conjures up hazy dancefloor memories. The follow up to
psychedelic disco dub ‘22BB’ supported by BBC Radio 1, BBC6 Music, and more, this is the second single from his highly anticipated forthcoming EP of the same name.

Due for release 2nd July on his own imprint Nocturne, Gemini Boy, Jordan Nocturne follows up the demand for his cult-status edits, with
three tracks of original dancefloor cuts, plus a jungle leaning remix from Studio Barnhus' Kornel Kovacs nodding to his early days as a teenager in Stockholm’s drum & bass scene.

Traversing electro, disco and synth-pop territories with ease is a testament to his status as one of Ireland's most exciting producers right now. The glorious EP marks the shape of things to come from Jordan Nocturne - genre-blending, kaleidoscopic sounds informed by his life in music and a refreshed approach to his output; stemming from changes in his life, time spent in the studio with a piano and a range of new synths, and reflections on those inimitable, magic dancefloor moments while the world was on hold.

Speaking on the single Jordan Nocturne says, “Gemini Boy was written during the first coronavirus lockdown, my son had been born in May, hence the name. I was having a renewed period of productivity with no events after 15 years of gigging every weekend. I see it as a euphoric club track, positivity amongst the chaos that was going on in my life at that time.”

With his Nocturne Edits releases selling in their thousands, plus a string of EP’s on revered labels including Phantasy and Huntleys & Palmer's imprint Belters, the return to his own imprint marks the start of a new chapter for Jordan Nocturne, and the blossoming Nocturne platform.
Having spent 2020’slockdown rebranding Nocturne, the label is now a platform for rising and established artists, and a force for good. Teaming up with illustrator Andreea Ilisăi, the label has been raising money for Trussell Trust and Disasters Emergency Fund with two genre-defying From Belfast With Love compilations featuring a wealth of local talent, and through sell-out lines of gorgeous prints, totes and T-shirts. Recently releasing sublime and hypnotic releases from the likes of Brighton’s Tech Support and Philadelphia duo Zillas on Acid, the Nocturne sound has evolved along with Jordan’s. DJing in clubs since he was just 13 years old, 15 years down the line the producer/DJ/promoter and label head is a seasoned professional; Jordan is a key player in the Northern Irish and Irish club-spheres and
an essential cog in East Belfast’s wider creative community, as well as a celebrated producer and DJ in the global dance music scene. After running his own after-hours party series turned label, Nocturne, and
holding down a sell-out, weekly residency across the city under The Night Institute (with scene stalwart Timmy Stewart) for over 5 years, Jordan’s approach to DJing and raving is all about inclusivity and authenticity with egos left at the door.

Pre-pandemic Jordan could be found playing esteemed underground spots and coveted venues across the world from Wilde Renate and Paloma Bar in Berlin, New York’s Good Room, Culture Box in Copenhagen to La Cheetah in Glasgow and Circus, Tokyo to name but a few, and turning in mixes for tastemaker fans including Beats in Space, Truants, Ninja Tune’s Solid Steel, DJ Mag, BBC Radio 6 Music

and more. With his life in music lending to an encyclopaedic knowledge of music, and productions blending discerning ear for detail and the
tacit knowledge that comes from over a decade on the dancefloor,
